Oregon, and a Master Degree from George Washington University.

We do seaside estate landscapes, commercial buildings, recreational parks, and a variety of other projects in Oregon along the Pacific Coast in towns such as Bandon, Coquille, Myrtle Point, Powers, Coos Bay, North Bend, Florence, Depot Bay, Yahats, Newport, Sea Side, Tillamook, Lincoln City, Gold Beach, and Brookings. We travel to Roseburg, Medford, and Eugene for projects. I am an expert with coastal plant that won't burn and can withstand wind.

The Oregon land bordering the Pacific beaches is some of the most difficult property to landscape since 90% of Oregon plant will either die within the first year. The air has salt particles that burn leaves and enters the soil to burn roots. Boulders, with rocked areas tie in nicely with Pacific beach landscape designs. Mounds with a variety of ornamental grasses can with stand the wind. Koi ponds or waterfalls work well in protected areas with special bamboos that can take the coastal climate. Decks that face south or have glass walls are a nice feature. Coastal trees and shrubs must be carefully selected. |
